Valuable info. Lucky me I found your site by accident, I bookmarked it.
I am a Vietnam Era veteran with 3 bronze stars and “numerous” other decorations. What do I need to do to become a veteran owned small business so that I can take advantage of becoming a minority contractor.
Dave,
The Department of Veterans Affairs has created the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE), which is solely dedicated to assisting veterans in starting and building businesses. They maintain a web site that serves as the federal government portal for veteran-owned businesses known as http://www.vetbiz.gov/.
You should also list your business in the Veteran Owned Business Directory
Hope this helps!
